Black Hills Con Panels

Have you always wanted to host a panel of your own at a convention? Then you've come to the right place! Panels are an important part of conventions and we love to see our attendees helping host ones. 

About Panels at BHC

Hosting a Panel

 

Panels are the heart and soul of a convention.  They are where an individual or group set up and run themed event. 

These can range from character/audience driven panels such as  "Ask the characters of ____" to educational panels like "How to style a wig" to audience interaction based activities such as "Anime Dating Game" and beyond.  

The limit is your imagination.

 Rules for hosts

​

  • Panel submissions close (date tbd)

  • Panelists must have a Black Hills Con badge in order to run a panel during the convention.

  • Panelists must be at least 16 to run a panel alone, any panelists 15 and under must have adult supervision. 

  • Panel host will receive 2 hours of volunteer time towards a free badge.

  • Please no politics or religion

  • No shows: Any panelist who does not show up for their panel may not be considered for a panel in the future. Extenuating circumstances do apply.
